THE LEARNING CURVE PROJECT
I will not be cutting any corners as I venture on this journey as I go from point A to B and finally to Z in the next year.
Along the way I will be investigating the different genres of house music. Anyone that has an interest in this style of music knows that there are more styles that I can shake a stick at, but I will do my best. I’m also hoping my peers who have made a success in this industry will provide feedback, give professional advice, and answer any questions I may have. It doesn’t matter what style of music or how big they’ve made it, we all have to start somewhere and hopefully, they can share their experiences with me.
I invite you to get involved as well by sharing your story, no matter what it is you do and maybe we can all learn from each others gains and losses.
Final note: I have recently learned that there is a rock band called "The Learning Curve" after setting up this page. I have nothing to do with them and apologise for any confusion.

So this week I have managed to knock out a remix for IAMEVE and I must say I’m pretty pleased with it if I say so myself. Could have done a bit more on a last delay but no-one may know it’s a mistake.
Been asked by a record label and a pop band to do a remix for then as well. Something I should not admit to, cause I know I can do a track in 1 day and polish it up in the next I’m in no stress in getting them done. Plus my job had effected my hobby in a way I could not have imagined.
I have requested for a music pro to give me career advice and critique my music. I know I need all the help I can get and I will respect someone more who is a stranger.
I got me a HD webcam seen as I have been asked to record a video interveiw. Not sure if I mentioned that before and if not now you know. Also means I can do a bit of web-camming on the side [jokes]. On a serious you can get in contact with me via skype if you wanted to.
Seen as I don’t really say much on what’s going on or it looks like nothing id going on I thought I would give you a quick run-down of what has goon on in the last 7 days.
I’m the illest
I been ill for over a week now. Don’t know what it is but have lots of flem, aches and nausia. Really want to get myself back to work, tried going in the other day, had to turn around just as quickly.
Record Pool Distribution
My track Peanut has been accepted to be distributed around the globe to most major radio stations. The C.E.O herself likes it. I feel super chuffed.

I have my own website domain now. I been getting on the case of my geezer to sort it out form last week. Still not finished at the time of me writing this. Not very happy cause I am impatient but at the same time it might just be to my advantage that it’s taking so long.
Review update
So I contacted Brian Sidler of the critical post. Lets just say he and his team are trying to work out how to do the write up and if they can’t think of a way then it wont get done. I really really want them to do this for me so badly.

I been saying forever that I will do video tutorials and I finally sort of done one. It’s on here somewhere.
Music promo
I have an idea for a new music promo and I’m trying to convince someone I know would be perfect for the job. I really hope she says yes. I would be magic.

IAMEVE
On soundcloud yesterday, came across and remix, liked the vocals, was intrigued to find out about the artist/act. was please with what I heard. Entered a remix comp to do a remix for her.
This morning I found a surprising email. Apparently I had I focus group session to use worth $25 I could use before it expired this coming Sunday. I did not know I had it and it seemed to come at the right time. Do you remember that track I did back in January ‘I Miss You’? Well I’m gonna release it soon and was wondering should I get a new vocalist or release it as an instrumental. I’m not fussed either way but I thought why not use the focus group to help me decide. I will have to wait maybe a few days before I get my results but until then, I’ll just wait for my official website to be completed hopefully by the end of today.

In the past I have told my views about using sexual images to sell/promote music. I stick to the theory that 9.9999 times out of 10 it is bound to be shit. Well while I may have those views I do not expect others to share that same train of thought.
Being a male like most who sooner or later the head inside the pants will take over the thinking part of the brain and will be attracted to something, like a booty bounce video. Let me just quickly say I really find booty bounce videos great in the first 20 seconds or so then get real boring soon afterwards. Even so I still manage to be drawn to them like a moth to a flame on most days.
After coming across 1 the other day I suddenly had that I could use 1 of these videos to my advantage. Does anyone remember the Kony 2012 promo with some woman in a bikini? Well I only quickly had a look but it I know that some teenage boy would have been glued to that screen. So why don’t I do the same, no me in a bikini, hire a model to do me a booty bounce video?
By now I’m sure you are aware that I am very impulsive, I get an idea and act on it. So if your a female and your reading this and you think it’s a good idea why not drop me a line.
Earlier today I submitted my track PEANUT to be reviewed by Brian Sidler-former music writer for Chicago Music Magazine and now writes for The Critical Post [Chicago]. I just read one of his reviews and he don’t pull any punches. I hope he is in a good moodwhen he does the review and don’t tear me a new one.
